Touchpoints at Chestnut is hiring for a full-time Laundry Assistant.
Summary:
The primary role of the Laundry Assistant is to collect and sort soiled linen and clothing, load and unload machines, and fold clean linen and laundry.
Responsibilities:- Performs variety of tasks such as collecting and sorting soiled linen and clothing, loading and unloading machines, and folding clean linen and laundry.
- Count linen processed daily and make deliveries to assigned areas.
- Must be able to clean clothing and facility linen.
- Must be able to operate computerized washers and dryers and understand how these machines work.
- Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Some previous experience in Healthcare industry. (preferred)
