Job Title

The Sr Solutions Architect – Digital/Data Platforms (Azure & Databricks)

Role Summary

This role blends deep technical expertise across digital, data, cloud, and AI architecture with strong product intuition, security awareness, and leadership. You will play a critical role in ensuring digital initiatives are scalable, secure, ethical, and cost‑efficient while being fully integrated into the broader enterprise ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Digital & Enterprise Architecture
    • Define target-state digital architecture across application, data, integration, cloud, and security layers.
    • Develop architecture roadmaps, technology blueprints, and modernization strategies.
    • Lead API strategy, microservices architecture, and event‑driven design.
  • Data Architecture & Governance
    • Design and optimize data platforms including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes (Databricks, Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift).
    • Define and implement Master Data Management (MDM), data models, metadata, lineage, and governance frameworks.
    • Ensure data quality, integrity, scalability, and compliance (PCI, PII).
  • Cloud Architecture & Platforms
    • Lead cloud architecture, build, and migration efforts across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
    • Design landing zones, networking, IAM frameworks, and cost optimization strategies.
    • Implement cloud-native solutions including serverless, containers, and microservices.
  • Integration, Security & API Strategy
    • Design integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, messaging, event streaming).
    • Govern API lifecycle and enforce reusable service interfaces.
    • Apply foundational security principles including encryption, authentication (AuthN), authorization (AuthZ), SSO, and managed identities.
  • Technical Leadership & Delivery
    • Provide architecture leadership for complex enterprise initiatives.
    • Lead proofs of concept (POCs), evaluate emerging technologies, and guide engineering teams.
    • Collaborate with product, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Analytics, AI & Digital Enablement
    • Architect platforms supporting BI, AI/ML, and real‑time analytics.
    • Enable digital experiences across omnichannel, e‑commerce, and enterprise workflows.
    • Design and support multi‑agent AI workflows, including planner/supervisor models, state management, routing, and agent interoperability (MCP, A2A protocols).
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • 7–10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or digital platform roles.
  • Proficiency with cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Expertise in MDM, data modeling, warehousing, lakehouse, ETL/ELT.
  • Experience with API design, microservices, and event‑driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, containerization.
  • Database management skills (SQL/No

    SQL).
  • Familiarity with modern digital platforms (CMS, PIM, DAM, e‑commerce).
  • Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, effective communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Project and time management.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
  • Cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • TOGAF certification.
  • Data governance or security certifications (CISM, CISSP, DAMA).
  • Experience designing enterprise AI and advanced analytics ecosystems.
  • Exposure to emerging multi‑agent AI architectures and frameworks.
Compensation

Annual base salary range: $160,500 – $185,500. Additional incentive opportunities may include annual cash incentives, sales incentives, or long‑term incentives based on performance objectives.
