Warehouse Associate at KBS - Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC located in Windsor, CT.

$16.94/hr - $19.50/hr

7am-6pm, 7pm-6am

• Use a manual forklift to pick full gondolas (large cardboard boxes) and replace them with empty gondolas within the assigned area.
• Transport and place full corrugated cardboard gondolas in the packer or compactor located in a designated area of the warehouse (training will be provided).
• Ensure all areas around gondolas are free of debris and trash.
• Remove dust, sweep and mop around the bins to keep the transit areas free of trash and debris.
• Maintain all traffic areas ("Green Mile walkways") free of debris at all times to guarantee the safety of all.
• Keep and classify the packer/compactor/packer zones to maintain order.
• Other cleaning tasks may be assigned as needed.

• Capacity to lift and move gondolas up to 75+ lbs using a manual forklift.
• Capacity to lift, push, pull and transport objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach objects both below the waist and above the head.
• Capable of pushing and pulling loaded manual forklifts consistently with garbage/cardboard.
• Walk inside and around the facilities frequently throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for a maximum of 10 to 12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operation and maintenance standards.
• Background and drug screening required.
