Regional Horticulture Operations Manager Overview
Are you a natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves driving growth, efficiency, and team success? Northern Nurseries is looking for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple sites, support business expansion, and strengthen our position as an industry leader.

What You’ll Do:
As Regional Operations Manager, you’ll partner closely with the General Manager to:
- Lead multi-site operations
– ensuring each location meets company standards and delivers an exceptional customer experience - Drive business results
– maximize market share, sales, and profit margins while keeping expenses in check - Inspire and develop people
– recruit, train, coach, and support site managers and staff - Champion compliance & safety
– OSHA, DOT, and environmental standards are always on your radar - Oversee projects & capital investments
– from equipment to land improvements, you’ll help move big ideas forward - Deliver top-tier customer service
– resolve major issues, maintain quality control, and keep us competitive in the market
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, compliance, safety, or multi-site management
- Strong leadership and people management skills – from hiring to conflict resolution
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
- Proven success in sales and operations management (horticulture experience a plus!)
- Ability to travel regularly across sites
- Willingness to relocate to the Windsor Locks, CT area (relocation assistance available!)
