Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Overtime: Available as needed

A leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician I – Burnisher / Sand Blaster to join its production team. This hands‑on role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, blasting, grinding, or industrial equipment experience who enjoy working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

The selected candidate will perform abrasive blasting, burnishing, and surface finishing operations on aerospace components while following strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate burnish cabinets, blasting cabinets, and walk‑in blasting booths
  • Load and unload parts and blasting media including glass bead and other materials
  • Burnish and blast coated aerospace components to required specifications
  • Visually inspect parts before, during, and after processing to ensure quality standards are met
  • Use hand tools, grinding equipment, and power tools as needed
  • Assist with masking and other production support duties when required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures throughout production
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous burnishing, sandblasting, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with power tools and mechanical equipment
  • Experience in aerospace or metal finishing environments is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and crouching
  • Repetitive use of hands and wrists
  • Good hand dexterity and hand‑eye coordination
  • Ability to work inside blasting cabinets and production areas for extended periods
