3-5 years Experience in role. This position will plan and provide, at minimum costs, the necessary materials to manufacture saleable products. Procure a variety of assigned commodities to support manufacturing production including those which are a non-standard or of a technical nature. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Schedules & orders direct material from 3rd party suppliers based on MRP requirements resulting from ERP system.

• Coordinates logistics requirements between customers, suppliers, and Eaton 3rd party logistics provider.

• Expedites material & revises direct material orders on an as needed basis in the ERP system to cover significant changes in manufacturing production schedules.

• Communicates potential direct materials issues to the master schedulers and/or Materials Manager that could significantly impact the production plan.

• Manages material inventory level to meet or exceed annual inventory management objectives.

• Collaborates and communicates with commodity team to resolve supply chain issues.

• Balances current and future demand requirements with operations and supplier capacities to ensure on-time completion of customer requirements.

• Responsible for resolving any supplier invoices within a timely manner.

• Communicate with external customers about incoming orders related to 3rd party shipments.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

• Minimum of one year experience performing purchasing function in a manufacturing environment.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP / ERP), specifically SAP
