* A leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented  
** Manufacturing Technician I - Burnisher / Sand Blaster
** to join its production team. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, blasting, grinding, or industrial equipment experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The selected candidate will perform abrasive blasting, burnishing, and surface finishing operations on aerospace components while following strict quality and safety standards.

** Responsibilities*
* + Set up and operate burnish cabinets, blasting cabinets, and walk-in blasting booths

+ Load and unload parts and blasting media including glass bead and other materials

+ Burnish and blast coated aerospace components to required specifications

+ Visually inspect parts before, during, and after processing to ensure quality standards are met

+ Use hand tools, grinding equipment, and power tools as needed

+ Assist with masking and other production support duties when required

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

+ Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures throughout production

+ Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines

** Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or GED required

+ Previous burnishing, sandblasting, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred

+ Familiarity with power tools and mechanical equipment

+ Experience in aerospace or metal finishing environments is a plus

+ Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Basic computer skills required

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

** Physical Requirements*
* + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

+ Frequent standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and crouching

+ Repetitive use of hands and wrists

+ Good hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination

+ Ability to work inside blasting cabinets and production areas for extended periods
