Aerospace Quality Inspector / Bench Inspector
1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities
Our client is global supplier of precision aerospace gears and gearbox assemblies supporting leading OEMs.
We are currently hiring experienced Quality Inspectors / Bench Inspectors for both 1st and 2nd shift
, with flexible start times available. These openings are due to company growth and upcoming retirement succession planning.
Pay: $32-40/hr, depending on experience + Overtime
What You’ll Be Doing:- Perform bench inspections on aerospace components and assemblies
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools and gaging equipment
- Read and interpret CMM reports while working from a surface plate
- Verify product quality throughout manufacturing and assembly processes
- Support shipping inspections, source inspections, NDT line support, etch processes, hardness testing, and marking verification
- Clean and prepare product prior to inspection
- Document non-conformances and participate in CAPA / corrective action processes
- Work closely with quality clinic teams and manufacturing to identify rework needs
- Maintain detailed inspection records and quality documentation
- Previous bench inspection experience required
- Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection tools
- Ability to read blueprints, inspection sheets, and CMM reports
- Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible, team-oriented attitude with willingness to support different departments as needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Openings available on both 1st and 2nd shift
- Flexible start times available
- Overtime regularly available (45–50 hours per week typical)
- Weekend overtime may be offered but is not mandatory
