Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Spray coating application with gravity‑fed handheld spray gun in confined space using rotating shop stand.
  • Responsibilities include mixing, thinning, priming, baking, painting, drying, and related tasks.
  • Monitor coating application and adherence per work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Perform masking and prep as per work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Ensure even coating is applied to parts as directed by traveler.
  • Perform all work in accordance with plant safety rules and maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all paint booth, cure ovens, and other equipment as required by production flow.
  • Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
  • Follow proper waste disposal procedures for hazardous materials.
  • Prepare necessary quality documents and confirm quality of own work using inspection tools in accordance with product specifications, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Adhere to all 5S / CPEX policies and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Education and Work Experience
  • Must have an HS Diploma or GED.
  • Strong shop mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions).
  • Previous painting and/or powder coating experience using a handheld spray gun preferred.
  • Detailed masking experience preferred.
  • On‑the‑job experience of 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, read and interpret blueprints.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Hours & Compensation

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non‑exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including experience, education, certifications, job‑related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
