Position Summary
The Refrigeration Assembler position is responsible for assembling refrigeration systems on air conditioning units using equipment such as pipe cutters, pipe benders, oxy-propane welding sets, flaring tools, taps, drills, in addition to any other equipment needed to perform the necessary tasks.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
(Other duties may be assigned)
- Perform pressure and leak testing on own work.
- Accurately and efficiently interpret drawings and sketches
- Ensure good housekeeping of individual work area
- Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
- Other assignments as designated by supervisor.

- Experienced in the assembly of industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and the assembly of copper fittings by soldering.
- Proficient ability in using, reading, and interpreting drawings and measuring scale or tape.
- Computer skills: basic computer skills a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
