Job Summary

We're looking for a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced production environment. This role performs a variety of production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and safe work practices.

Shift :1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:30a-3:30p

What You'll Be Doing

  • Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
  • Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.
  • Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
  • Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
  • Use measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and tapes, to verify quality requirements.
  • Inspect and certify your own work in accordance with established standards.
  • Load, transport, and stage components throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, and industrial trucks as authorized.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing standards.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Manufacturing or production experience.
