We are hiring a Control Panel Technician for our Windsor, CT location.

This is an onsite position.

What Will You Do?
  • Perform a variety of machining and assembly operations on various standard and custom control panels.
  • Conduct wiring from diagrams, schematics, and complex blueprints.
  • Perform drilling, tapping, hole punching and cutouts in enclosures and panels.
  • Assemble end wire electrical control panels Including operators, pilot lights, push buttons, selector
    * itches, relays, timers, contractors, starters, alternators, controllers, recorders, transmitters, PLC's and similar equipment.
  • Test functional operation of the complete unit and perform troubleshooting procedures.
  • Read and follow blueprint
  • Follow all safety guidelines.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Stooping, bending, lifting up to 30lbs
  • Walking throughout the production floor
Your Experience Should Be...
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read engineering documentation (drawings, test specification).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be familiar with the operation and connection of low to medium three phase motors.
  • Electrical background or certification a plus
