Rotating Equipment Mechanic

Job Description Pay is based on experience. Full Time position. Monday to Friday. 1st shift. Boss Pro Staffing is looking for an experienced rotating equipment mechanic for a manufacturing company in the Hartford area. We prefer a candidate with experience working on pumps, gearboxes, electric motors, etc. We are in need of someone with a very strong mechanical background and leadership skills for future growth opportunities.

See detailed description below, we are looking for all levels of support. Class A Pump Mechanic and Field Service Technician:
In-House and Field Service of industrial pumps/rotating equipment (Industrial Pumps, blowers, fans, electric motors, engines, gear boxes, turbines etc)

Description:

Disassembly/evaluation, Close tolerance assembly, precision measurement, knowledge of hydraulics, working knowledge of all types of rotating equipment, particularly industrial pumps. Understand the mechanical function of rotating equipment sold and serviced by us, must be able to perform failure analysis, troubleshoot cause of failure and implement solution for repair of equipment. Work closely with sales group, production team, inventory/quality control to enhance efficiency and quality of product.

Class B Pump Mechanic:
In-house disassembly and assembly of industrial pumps

Description:

Assemble/Disassemble end suction pumps (new and reconditioned), understand and complete work orders correctly with minimal supervision. Use all measuring tools, pick appropriate materials/tools for the task at hand, identify/troubleshoot problems with evaluation and bring to the attention of Mechanic team leader. Work closely with Mechanic team leader, production manager, inventory/quality control to enhance efficiency and quality of product. Class C Mechanic and production support:
Entry Level Mechanic-trainee, disassembly technician

Description:

Assist production team with pump disassembly, gain knowledge of rotating equipment by working closely with mechanics in production support role.
