Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling to join our team in Windsor, CT. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with business goals and customer demands.
- Coordinate with various departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
- Work with customers to meet customer on time delivery expectations
- Coordinate closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure overall achievement of production plan.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
- Develop tools and process to mature the planning function
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Prepare and present reports on production metrics to senior management.
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated aerospace program-management capability.

Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries.
- Experience with Epicor Manufacturing a plus.
- Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality management system standards.
