A stand-up with Operations and Engineering follows, where you balance capacity, materials, and takt time. By mid-morning, you’re partnering with Procurement and Logistics to secure critical parts, and before lunch you’re on the phone with a customer confirming on-time delivery.

The afternoon closes with a review of performance metrics and a plan to refine tools that make our planning function smarter and faster.

What You’ll DoCreate and own production plans and finite schedules aligned to business objectives and customer demand.

Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to keep material, machines, and people synchronized.

Partner directly with customers to meet on-time delivery expectations and proactively communicate risks.

Work closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure the shop executes to plan and resolves constraints quickly.

Track progress in real time and adjust schedules to hit deadlines while optimizing resources.

Analyze production data to forecast needs, surface trends, and drive data-informed decisions.

Develop tools and processes that mature and standardize the planning function.

Champion safety and quality compliance throughout the production lifecycle.

Prepare and present actionable performance reports and KPIs to senior leadership.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated aerospace program-management capability.

Required Qualifications 5+ years in production planning and scheduling, ideally in a manufacturing setting.

Advanced analytical ability; comfortable interpreting complex data and acting decisively.

Clear, confident communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Hands-on experience with production planning software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Proven leadership with a track record of coaching, performance management, and team growth.

Familiarity with lean concepts and continuous improvement preferred.

Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing.

Experience with Epicor Manufacturing a plus.

Preferred Qualifications Training or experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Exposure to ISO or similar quality management systems.
