As a Production Planning Lead, you will drive operational excellence by orchestrating complex manufacturing schedules and optimizing resource allocation. Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive production schedules that synchronize manufacturing output with fluctuating customer demand.
- Bridge the gap between engineering, procurement, and shop-floor operations to eliminate bottlenecks and accelerate throughput.
- Transform raw production data into actionable forecasts that enhance capacity planning and operational efficiency.
- Architect and deploy advanced planning tools to modernize the scheduling function and increase organizational agility.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to refine manufacturing processes and uphold rigorous quality standards.
- Deliver high-level performance reporting to leadership, highlighting key metrics and strategic opportunities for growth.
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or master production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project timelines.
- Strong analytical mindset with the capability to translate data into strategic decision-making.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Experience with in precision manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
- Certification or deep practical experience in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Direct experience with Epicor or similar high-tier manufacturing software.
- Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
