- Traveler Policy:
Local Travelers – those who reside within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible. - Weekend Requirements:
Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed. - On Call Requirements: TBD.
- EMR:
Cerner. - Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5.
- Average daily patient census: 22.
- Call is required for this need.
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle – a firm requirement.
- May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible).
- Pay package details provided upon offer.
- Must have 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience.
- May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg and to any unit within scope of practice.
- Must have Charge RN experience – not negotiable.
- Previous travel (at least 3 months) – required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing / BSN – preferred.
- Must have and maintain current Active American Heart Association ACLS.
- Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability.
- Drug screen and background check (facility required).
