We are seeking an experienced NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector with Immersion Ultrasonic Testing (IUT) experience to perform critical inspections on aerospace components in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for identifying internal defects using ultrasonic testing methods and ensuring all parts meet strict customer and industry quality standards.

This position operates within a structured inspection cell team and plays a key role in ensuring product safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform immersion ultrasonic inspections and evaluations on aerospace components
  • Set up, calibrate, verify, and maintain ultrasonic inspection equipment and transducers
  • Interpret inspection results and determine acceptance or rejection based on specifications
  • Accurately document inspection data, settings, and results in compliance systems
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures
  • Work collaboratively within a cell-based inspection team to support production flow
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Active Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification (NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1+ year of hands‑on Immersion Ultrasonic Testing experience
  • Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing inspection experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, sound wave behavior, and transducer function
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and inspection procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quality‑critical environment
