Retail Scan Associate (East Windsor, CT 06088)

This is a permanent part‑time role. The base hours for this position average from 2‑5 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours (typically 1–2 hours per week per store) are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June.

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for product and retailer.

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. The role involves continuous physical activity throughout the shift.

Route:
Grocery stores in EAST WINDSOR CT 06088 and SUFFIELD CT 06078. Available workdays:
Sunday, Monday or Tuesday at EAST WINDSOR;
Sunday through Thursday at SUFFIELD.

• Perform in‑store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes throughout the store.
• Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete display scanning on the entire store weekly.
• Handle custom projects requested by clients, adding 1–2 hours of work for those weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines to deliver accurate data.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
