Job SummaryNew England Mechanical Services is currently seeking a CT licensed plumber (P2 or P1) with 3-5 years of experience for our South Windsor, CT Mechanical Group.
This opportunity requires a self‑motivated individual with commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping experience.
Individuals with HVAC piping background are encouraged to apply.
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication and written skills preferred.
Location would be in New Britain, Monday-Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM.
Some overtime is required.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesKeep trade licenses and certifications current.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
Other duties may be assigned.
QualificationsMust hold a current CT P-2 or P-1 license.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set‑up and climb ladders as well as stairways.
The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101+ seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
