Windsor Recreation Services Lifeguard (Summer 2026)
Seeking skilled, reliable, and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our summer team for a fun and rewarding seasonal position running from Memorial Day weekend through August 30th, 2026. Spend your summer working outdoors at one of our great pools, enjoying the sunshine, building valuable lifesaving and leadership skills, and being part of a supportive team‑oriented environment that looks great on your resume as well.
Responsibilities:
Lifeguards will supervise pool activities and events, provide aquatic instruction during swim lesson classes, enforce safety rules, clean and maintain the bathhouse and pool areas, and remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents as they arise.
Rate of pay: $17.35 hourly.
Minimum Qualifications- All applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
- Be certified or willing to obtain CPR/AED & First Aid training before the start of the program.
- Candidates must have Lifeguard Certification.
- Successful completion of the Town's background and drug screening process (includes screening for marijuana).
The position will be opened until filled.
