The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in meeting daily inventory replenishment demands. They assist with merchandising stock efficiently and timely. Hourly Rate: $18.00.

Schedule:

6:30am – 3:00pm.

Responsibilities

The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. They play a key role in maintaining the efficiency of warehouse operations.

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
  • Scan items into the warehouse management system.
  • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
  • Organizing the warehouse space.
  • Preparing orders for shipment.
  • Picking orders for shipment.
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
  • Operating stock management tools such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
  • Routine cleaning duties.
  • Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
  • Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance.
  • May be subject to environmental conditions; protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
  • Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety.
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
