Lead Supervisor, Material Control

Responsibilities

• Lead SG 6 supervision and a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
• Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism.
• Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Manage behaviors and accountability in process, in yourself and the hourly workforce.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5-year leadership experience.
• Minimum 2-year work experience in similar positions.
• Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon shifts with varying hours. Must be flexible with shift times, and willing and able to work overtime.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time, in the Kansas City High Velocity Center (Shawnee, KS).
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
• Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft:
  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on achieving objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, and Efficiency. Proficient in stakeholder engagement and maintaining professional relationships while ensuring accountability and effective communication.
