Commercial HVAC Technician
Perform service and repair work on commercial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. Including but not limited to boilers, air-handling equipment, chilled water systems, hot water systems, DX systems, exhaust systems, and other HVAC equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in commercial buildings, including schools, hospitals, industrial facilities, offices, universities, laboratories, and data centers.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components and equipment.
Promote North American Mechanical, Inc.'s services through ongoing customer interactions, communications, assurance, and support.
Prepare pertinent information and written documentation, including work reports, timecards, material orders, and other required documentation, using NAMI's operating system.
Maintain responsibility for customer satisfaction and support a team-oriented approach within the NAMI Service Department.
Build and maintain solid professional relationships with clients, vendors, coworkers, outside professionals, and others contacted on behalf of the organization.
Performs other HVAC duties as assigned by supervisor.
Working conditions can vary from site to site. Work both indoors and outdoors is required.
Must be able to stand, sit, squat, stoop, and kneel.
Considerable walking, standing, bending, reaching, grasping, flexing arms, wrists, hands and fingers, and turning torso and head may also be required.
Must be able to maneuver and climb ladders.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, their operation, and maintenance requirements.
Minimum of an associate's degree or completion of an HVAC apprenticeship, and/or 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC mechanical service.
EPA-certified refrigerant recovery certification required
Demonstrated understanding and ability to clearly communicate technical knowledge and capabilities related to commercial HVAC equipment.
Must have a valid Driver License.
