Seasonal Help Wanted
Kwik Trip, Inc. is currently seeking seasonal help for our brand new DeForest Distribution Center that opened in November of 2025. Our 286,000 square foot Distribution Center plays a key role in our vertical integration efforts. The Distribution Center will have a team of 200+ co-workers responsible for providing approximately 90 percent of the various products sold at our store locations.
Join our weekend seasonal distribution center crew from September to April where you will be responsible for material handling within our dry, cooler, and freezer locations to support our retail locations. The position may involve using a power pallet jack, stand on fork lift, some hand stacking.
Note:
All co-workers are cross trained to work in the entire warehouse as needed.
This position offers a $5 an hour premium for working weekends. Also a $1 an hour premium while working in the freezer.
Schedule:
Saturdays and/or Sundays from September to April with shift beginning at 7:00am.
Qualifications:
- Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
- Work well with others
- Possess basic math aptitude
- Read, understand and interpret numbers
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Work in a safety conscious environment
- Prior order selection, forklift, power pallet jack and reach lift experience is a plus.
Physical qualifications: lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches, 40 pounds to 72 inches, and 20 pounds to 82"; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in
-20 – 90+ degree F temperatures
