Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - 12H Nights Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), working on a 7 on/7 off schedule, including every other weekend.

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting. The RN will float to various units within their competencies, maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team.

• Provide patient-centered care and support to individuals in a Med/Surg environment.
• Float to different units as required, exhibiting flexibility and adaptability.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg nursing role; prior travel experience preferred.
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama must be on file at the time of submission.
• Certifications required:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must pass Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (Rhythm Strip) tests with a score of 80% or higher.
• Omnicell experience is preferred.
