Overview
Diversicare provides post‑acute care services to patients and residents at 43 skilled nursing and long‑term care centers in eight states, primarily in the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest United States. This position is a Certified Nursing Assistant working in partnership with the nursing team to deliver direct care to residents and patients.

- Assist with direct resident/patient care in accordance with treatment plans and direction from the training course instructor.
- Help with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and room cleanliness.
- Complete assignments and hands‑on learning activities directed by the instructor.
- Attend classroom activities, orientation programs, and on‑the‑job training.
- Provide safe bedside care and assistance with integrity and compassion.
- Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and the nursing team to ensure quality care.
- Accompany residents as needed to activities and functions.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Build relationships with patients, residents, families, and team members.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance when handling protected health information.
- Study for and pass the state administered exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Willingness to learn and passion for caring for residents and patients.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care center is a plus.
- Positive, effective, and appropriate communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers and team members.
- Interest in and positive attitude toward working with long‑term care residents, patients, and the elderly.
- Proficient reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
- Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.
