Substitute requirements:
- A valid Illinois Professional Educators License or a Substitute Teaching Certificate registered in DuPage County.
- You must complete the required form from the DuPage County Regional Office and their Licensure Department to make an appointment to be fingerprinted. The form is available online.
- A statement of good health is required (dated within 90 days of hire).
- A copy of college transcripts that indicate the degree and date.
- Copy of a current driver's license and social security card.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsible, honest, tactful, able to maintain confidentiality, and be of good character.
Salary: $145 per day for the first 15 days worked during a given school year. After 15 days, the rate of pay increases to $150 per day.
