Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC seeks an Eating Disorder Residential Counselor to support adolescents and adults in our evidence-based treatment programs. In this role, you will provide direct client care, safety monitoring, and meal support while helping maintain a structured, recovery-focused milieu. Working within a compassionate, multidisciplinary team, you will assist with groups, documentation, and daily living support, while receiving training, supervision, and growth opportunities in eating disorder and mental health treatment.
- Supervise and ensure safety of clients in a residential eating disorder treatment setting.
- Support implementation of individualized treatment plans under clinical staff direction.
- Provide compassionate meal support and coach clients through recovery-oriented behaviors.
- Document observations, client progress, and incidents accurately and timely.
- Facilitate or co-facilitate groups, activities, and skills-based programming as assigned.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, dietitians, and psychiatrists to support coordinated care.
- Maintain a therapeutic, recovery-focused milieu aligned with program policies and ethics.
- Assist with admissions, orientation, and discharge processes for clients and families.
- Respond appropriately to crises and follow safety, de-escalation, and reporting protocols.
- Participate in trainings, supervision, and ongoing learning to build clinical and recovery skills.
