Job Details
The RN Float – Women & Children supports acute nursing care in Women and Children Services and NICU. The role includes prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The position aligns with Northwestern Medicine’s mission, Code of Ethics, and regulatory standards.
Salary Range$37.00 – $59.20 per hour, based on experience and internal equity.

- Effectively interact with patients, family members, and health team members while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
- Float to multiple assigned areas.
- Three or more years of acute nursing experience within the last five years across three areas in Women and Children Services.
- Candidates with experience in two areas will be considered if willing to train in a third area.
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- BSN.
- Must have PALS and/or NRP certification based on floating areas.
