School Social Worker (PEL)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to help remove barriers to learning and provide meaningful support to students, families, and school teams. Job Type: Full-Time, Full School Year contract
Caseload: 2-3 school sites, approx. 30 students on caseload

Location:

Winfield, IL

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need of support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Connect families with community resources and support services
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Support attendance improvement and behavioral intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Valid Illinois state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
