Job Description

Galaxy Technologies is currently seeking a Planner to join our growing team. Planners create tool-build plans on basic tools and complete complex plans with the assistance of a Senior Planner.

Salary Range: $27.00 – $33.00 annually.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Tooling Manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills.
• Familiar with material and outside processes.
• Good analytical skills and ability to develop manufacturing plans.
• Good communicator willing to work in a team environment.

• Perform basic Global Shop Solutions functions.
• Review and understand customer requirements.
• Review and analyze models in Catia V5.
• Understand bill of materials (BOM) and have a basic understanding of various materials and processes used in aerospace tooling.
• Understand basic manufacturing techniques and processes and apply them to a particular tool to develop a build plan from start to finish.
• Create routers and general data entry in the Global Shop based on customer specifications and Galaxy manufacturing processes.

• Basic knowledge of operating computer software, including Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interact positively and professionally to develop and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and management.
• Ability to sufficiently communicate with coworkers and management using good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
