The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our growing corporate accounting team. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process, consolidated financial reporting, and public-company reporting support.
You will own critical corporate accounting areas – corporate month-end close, including G&A accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, stock-based compensation, and cash reporting – while partnering closely with site accounting, treasury, payroll, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Close & Accounting- Own corporate G&A accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and monthly close deliverables
- Prepare and post corporate journal entries with clear support and documentation
- Own corporate balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely
- Post and reconcile daily corporate cash activity and support monthly cash reporting
- Provide corporate cash forecast inputs to support treasury activities
- Consolidate corporate and site financial results, including recording allocations and eliminations
- Prepare monthly financial reporting package, including financial statements and consolidated flux analysis
- Analyze and communicate period-over-period and budget-to-actual variances
- Review payroll prior to processing and support bonus and compensation accruals
- Own stock compensation accounting, including RSU expense recognition and roll forwards
- Maintain equity, warrant, and share roll forward schedules
- Support quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K), including selected footnotes, tie-outs and supporting schedules
- Prepare and maintain accounting disclosure checklists
- Support external audit and quarterly review processes
- Maintain documentation supporting internal controls and SOX readiness
- Identify and implement improvements in close, reconciliation, and reporting processes
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, treasury, payroll, finance, and external auditors
- Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Required:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting
- Exposure to SOX/internal control environments
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience at an SEC-registered public company and/or public accounting experience with a Big 4 or national accounting firm preferred
- Experience supporting SEC reporting (10-Q / 10-K)
- Experience with stock-based compensation accounting (RSUs, equity roll forwards, expense recognition)
- Experience with consolidations and financial reporting processes
- Mining or natural resources industry experience (a plus, not required)
