Job Overview
Student Worker – Equipment Inventory & Staging, Winnemucca Industrial Maintenance Program.
Responsibilities- Receive and inventory new equipment and supplies delivered through the GOED grant.
- Set up equipment and supplies to assist with lab projects in classes and for the next semester.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are safe to use.
- Create stands and supports for equipment and tools.
- Label and inventory all newly purchased tools and equipment for the Winnemucca Industrial Maintenance program.
- Organize tool storage and storage bins for tools and equipment used in the program.
- Build shelves and storage racks inside the Conex.
- Maintain and organize flammable cabinets and SDS sheets for products used in the program.
- Must be a student of Great Basin College.
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester and maintaining a 2.0 GPA.
- Eligible for Work Study or Receive Scholarship Program (RSP) through Student Financial Services.
- Familiar with electrical and instrumentation tools and materials.
- Familiar with welding equipment and tools.
- Practices workplace and electrical safety.
Hourly rate: $13.00 per hour.
Maximum 19 hours per week with a monthly maximum of 79.5 hours.
Full‑time equivalent: 47.5%.
