Student Worker - Industrial Maintenance - Winnemucca Part-Time

Job Overview

Student Worker – Equipment Inventory & Staging, Winnemucca Industrial Maintenance Program.

• Receive and inventory new equipment and supplies delivered through the GOED grant.
• Set up equipment and supplies to assist with lab projects in classes and for the next semester.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are safe to use.
• Create stands and supports for equipment and tools.
• Label and inventory all newly purchased tools and equipment for the Winnemucca Industrial Maintenance program.
• Organize tool storage and storage bins for tools and equipment used in the program.
• Build shelves and storage racks inside the Conex.
• Maintain and organize flammable cabinets and SDS sheets for products used in the program.

• Must be a student of Great Basin College.
• Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester and maintaining a 2.0 GPA.
• Eligible for Work Study or Receive Scholarship Program (RSP) through Student Financial Services.
• Familiar with electrical and instrumentation tools and materials.
• Familiar with welding equipment and tools.
• Practices workplace and electrical safety.

Hourly rate: $13.00 per hour.

Maximum 19 hours per week with a monthly maximum of 79.5 hours.

Full‑time equivalent: 47.5%.
