Responsibilities- New Teacher Mentoring
- Mentor new teachers
- Provide classroom management support
- ICAT strategy support for all teachers
- Model teaching support
- Review classroom routines
- Student Discipline
- Student referrals
- Address student behavioral issues
- Behavior data analysis
- Bullying investigations
- Oversee Instructional and Duty Aides
- Co‑ordinate instructional and duty aide schedules
- Lunchroom supervisor
- Recess and bus duty supervisor
- Biweekly instructional aide meeting
- Agenda preparation
- Professional development leadership
- Student Supervision
- Morning and evening bus duty supervisor
- Lunch room supervisor
- Playground supervisor
- PBIS Team
- Team leader meetings and agendas
- Manage PBIS funds
- Create and update PBIS lesson plans
- Social emotional learning activities
- PBIS award assemblies
- Weekly PBIS/PLC character building assembly (grammar school only)
- ICAT Team Member
- Leadership Team Member
- Code Blue/Safety Team Member
- SPP Team Member
- Supervise, train and evaluate classified staff
- Support new and struggling teachers
- Interact effectively with students, parents and staff
- Collaborate with the site administrator
- Allocate limited resources cost‑effectively
- Analyze instructional data
- Hold or qualify for a Nevada Administrative Certificate
- Minimum three (3) years of successful teaching as a fully certified teacher
- Prior experience in supervisory roles and positions is a plus
- Current Nevada Teaching License (required)
- Current Nevada Administrative License preferred but not required
- Effective instructional practices
- Student disciplinary procedures
- NEPF basic expectations
- School Performance Plan development, implementation and evaluation
- Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation for classified staff
Full‑time
Job Requirements- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
Based upon the HCSD certified salary schedule plus 10 additional days.
