Responsibilities- Develop, modify, troubleshoot and maintain ABB Bailey Infi

V, and Rockwell PLC control systems. - Modify control system logic to maintain existing and develop new process control functionality.
- Modify control system interlocks, per missives, alarms, and operator displays for safe and optimized process control.
- Design, install, and maintain OPC and Modbus interfaces to control systems.
- Analyze and tune process control loops.
- Manage and perform control system software upgrades.
- Manage and perform control system hardware maintenance and upgrades in control rooms and Motor Control Centers.
- Respond to control system troubleshooting requests after-hours as required, including troubleshooting remotely, and callouts to site.
- Maintain, develop, modify, and troubleshoot process control support systems: OSI-PI historian, DB-Doc, advanced process control, SPLIT camera, etc.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft PCs and Servers.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Ethernet and ABB Infi-90 networks, including Cisco and Hirschmann switches.
- Provide visible felt leadership during interaction with other team members and as a salaried staff representative in support of and demonstrating the NGM – DNA (Core Values).
- Implement various operational and maintenance alternatives to leverage cost-savings effectively managing forecasted and budgeted expenditures.
- Provide training and facilitation on root cause failure analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Develop Nevada Gold Mines’ Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications focused on sustaining a reliability culture.
- Cultivate productive partnerships with key vendors/OEMs that drive improvement in equipment.
- Maintain and validate downtime reporting databases and KPIs.
- Identify, scope and evaluate reliability improvement projects.
- Proficiently utilize maintenance operating system (S4-HANA, SAP) to record and report on maintenance activity in a continuous improvement strategy.
- Ensure the sustainability of the Condition Monitoring techniques that are to be implemented.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team required.
- Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills required.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience in a reliability role preferred.
- Two (2) years practical experience in Operations, preferably in a mobile maintenance mining environment preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN preferred.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques such as oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) preferred.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager preferred.
