Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor provides leadership and overall support to the operations of the housekeeping department. We take pride in our work to provide a safe environment for our guests and team members and present and maintain housekeeping operations’ in compliance with safety and employment laws.

- Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities in both hotels to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house for cleanliness.
- Train, motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline staff members.
- Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance program.
- Maintain supply and linen inventories.
- Create daily board assignments and update room statuses in the computer.
- Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Assist housekeepers as needed to ensure rooms are cleaned and the team remains on pace.
- Assign additional responsibilities as needed, such as stocking, deep cleaning and side work.
- Ensure the appearance of the property reflects positively on the company.
- Monitor staff compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Schedule time for required training and documentation for each team member.
- Inspect rooms to ensure quality assurance.
- Coordinate with management to maintain inventory required to operate effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, as well as team member and guest information.
- Comply with Triple Crown Casino’s time and attendance policies and be available to work flexible shifts when business demands change.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and/or bend for long periods of time.
- High School degree or equivalent.
Starting pay for this position: $14.00-$16.00
