Training Specialist

Lithium Nevada, a development-stage company of Lithium Americas, is committed to building a responsible and sustainable lithium supply for the growing energy storage and electric transportation sectors. As we advance Thacker Pass —the largest known lithium reserve in the U.S.—we’re looking for a Training Specialist to join our team and help drive operations forward.

• Collaborate with the Training Superintendent and department leaders to implement, evaluate, and continuously improve training programs for Thacker Pass employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Design and update training materials, job aids, and On-the-Job (OJT) guides aligned with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
• Manage and maintain training records, schedules, and content within the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align training expectations and standards.

• 5+ years of experience in training within mining or chemical processing environments
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Experience designing and coordinating OJT and compliance-based programs
• Commitment to safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
