Job overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a wood utility finisher.

Responsible for performing various tasks on a production line in a manufacturing facility.

Duties and responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

* perform installation of plywood floors on utility trailers.

* assemble wood components onto utility trailer frames according to company specifications and blueprints.

* fit wood materials such as decking.

* use hand tools and power tools to fasten wood components securely.

* responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments and wood floor installation in a manufacturing facility.

* follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.

* perform other duties as assigned.

* the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

* follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.

* keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.

* follow all company rules and policies.

* follow all safety rules and quality standards.

* uphold all osha standards applicable to the responsibilities above.

* ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Skills and qualifications:

* knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.

* excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.

Work environment:

* environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling, hot in the summers and cold in the winters.

* loud industrial environment.

Physical demands:

* walking, standing, kneeling, bending are required up to 90% of the workday

* lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50-70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday

Work hours:

* this is a full-time position. Work week is monday through friday, 10-hour shifts. Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.

* must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.
