Entry Level Inventory Control Specialist – Winnemucca, NV.
Immediate openings available for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company. The role focuses on cycle counting, receiving incoming materials, part identification, inventory storage, and related account administration. Must pass a drug test.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Inventory Control Specialist to support our production operations. The candidate will manage daily inventory activities, maintain accurate records, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Work independently and collaborate with the team.
- Follow orders and complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform day‑to‑day inventory activities: receive incoming materials, conduct cycle counts, identify parts, and store items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system, updating quantities and locations as needed.
- Communicate technical information via email or spreadsheets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures, guidelines, safety rules, and quality standards.
- Uphold OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities.
- Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Previous inventory experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field.
- Prior forklift experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and related manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to use and read a tape measure.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and decision‑making skills.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Non‑climate‑controlled environment with hot summers and cold winters.
- Loud industrial environment.
- Walking, standing, kneeling, and bending required up to 90% of the workday.
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50–70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday.
Full‑time position. Work week Monday through Thursday, 10‑hour shifts. Fridays required for overtime as production demand dictates.
