Join this fast-paced Emergency Room as a travel RN in Winnemucca, NV, working 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week assignment. You’ll be responsible for managing a wide range of high-acuity cases, including trauma, strokes, cardiac events, and overdoses. The role involves triage, administering critical drips, performing conscious sedation, and supporting advanced respiratory care with equipment like vents and BiPAP. Expect to collaborate closely with physicians, handle inter-facility transfers, and precept students and less experienced staff.
Your experience with triage and comfort with critical procedures will be key to success in this engaging environment that treats over 30 patients daily and maintains 1:3-4 nurse to patient ratios.
