Turquoise Ridge - Assay Laboratory Technician

Assay Laboratory Technician – Turquoise Ridge Analytical Lab at Nevada Gold Mines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of ore, process, and exploration samples.

• Prepare ore, process, and exploration samples.
• Perform fire assay, wet laboratory work, and operate analytical instrumentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Preferred: 6 months experience in an analytical laboratory.
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of computer operation required.
• Exemplary safety and attendance record required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs without reasonable accommodations.
• Self‑sufficient at work and able to prioritize a heavy workload.
• Effective communication with peers in a team environment required.
• Must work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
