As a Security Officer Patrol in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic and/or visitors, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.
- Support site operations by preparing reports, maintaining assigned logs, and following Allied Universal standards along with location-specific protocols during routine and emergency-related situations.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
