Electrician

The Hycroft gold and silver mine is located in the Sulfur Mining district, approximately 54 miles west of Winnemucca, Nevada. Spanning 72,000 acres of patented and unpatented claims, this operational site has a robust mining history and is easily accessible via Nevada State Route 49 (Jungo Road). Historically, under previous ownership ), the mine successfully produced over one million ounces of gold through open-pit heap leaching methods.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Winnemucca, NV, for an Electrician. The Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment and related systems. Additional responsibilities include inspecting electrical components, diagnosing malfunctions, and collaborating with team members to support facility operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Work
• Hands-on experience with Maintenance and Repair of electrical systems
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
• Understanding and application of Electrical Engineering principles
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety protocols
• Previous experience in a mining or industrial environment preferred
• Relevant electrical certifications and/or licenses are required
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is an advantage
