We are supporting an active mineral exploration drilling program in northern Nevada and are seeking a Drill Crew Helper / Exploration Team Member I to support daily drilling operations and field logistics.
This role is designed for individuals looking to enter the exploration and drilling side of the mining industry through hands‑on field experience. The team values people who show up consistently, follow safety protocols, and can learn quickly in demanding field conditions.
The position works closely with drillers, geotechnicians, and supervisors and provides exposure to real drilling programs rather than classroom or simulated work.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting drill crews with setup, breakdown, and daily operations
- Handling drill rods, core barrels, and tooling under supervision
- Supporting core handling and transport activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of drill pads
- Assisting with fuel, water, and consumable delivery
- Performing routine site upkeep and access road maintenance
- Following all safety procedures and participating in pre‑task planning
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically capable of demanding outdoor work
- Willingness to work long shifts in remote environments
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Rotational shifts aligned to drilling schedules
- Entry‑level role with clear progression into advanced drilling or field support positions
