Job DescriptionPosition Description
We are seeking an Underground Instrumentation Technician to join the Maintenance team at Turquoise Ridge. The role combines preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of power distribution centers, switch gear, motors, controls, process controls, and instrumentation. The position requires working shifts, overtime, and callouts as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of power distribution centers, switch gear, motors and controls, process controls and instrumentation.
- Work shifts, overtime, and callouts as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience performing electrical and instrumentation duties (may substitute two (2) years of trade school or equivalent training for two years of experience).
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation circuits.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, and provide feedback.
- Experience with PLC controls, troubleshooting and programming, and variable frequency drives.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Capable and willing to work with maintenance and operational teams.
- Good safety record and ability to work with various safety programs.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
