- Under the supervision of the Bus Driver Foreman
- Ability to obtain or currently have a CDL and valid state license to drive a school bus.
- Humboldt County School district offers paid training for the CDL.
- Knowledge of state laws, rules and regulations pertaining to school bus operations and pupil transportation.
- Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
- Keeps to a designated route for the purpose of transporting students to and from school and on special trips in accordance with a designated time schedule.
- Maintain appropriate student behavior management. Follow H.C.S.D. policies, Bus Driver Policy and the Master Agreement.
- Keeps assigned bus clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
