The Manitoba Teachers’ Society is seeking an enthusiastic team member to fill the full-time position of Administrative Clerk in our Finance & Administrative Services Department.

The primary function of this position is data entry and administrative support to the Finance Department.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school education, Manitoba standards.
  • Additional training in business or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in an administrative support role in a finance or accounting department.
  • One-year relevant work experience in a related position.
Additional

Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience with accounting software will be considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of accounting procedures and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, exercise independent judgement, and manage confidential and sensitive information and records.

The Society offers a comprehensive benefits package including Extended Health, Dental, Vision Care, Group Life and Pension as well as free parking. The annual salary for this position begins at $49,197. All other terms and conditions of employment are covered under a Collective Agreement
.
