Elevate your career with Canada Life as an Administrative Assistant in the Disability Administration department. You'll handle litigation support, banking tasks, and reports in a full-time, in-office role.
This position supports both administrative and litigation activities, reporting to the Team Leader. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of legal documents.
Your role will involve preparing litigation cheques, managing bankruptcy recovery, and producing reports essential for the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Issue Litigation Settlement and Reinstatement Funds
• Prepare and send litigation cheques efficiently
• Handle bankruptcy and fraud recovery tasks
• Create monthly litigation reports for management
• Assist with new action file assignments
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 2 to 3 years in an administrative position
• Excellent communication and proofreading skills
• Strong technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel
• Ability to manage confidential information and multi-task
