Assembly Clerk – 6‑12‑month onsite (Portage la Prairie)

As an Assembly Clerk, you’ll support our underwriting team by ensuring policy documents and related paperwork are accurate, processed, and distributed on time.

• Print, match, and proof documents to ensure accuracy before distribution.
• Support other administrative functions or special projects as required by the office.
• Provide assistance to the Underwriting Department, matching policy documents and reviewing them for completeness.
• Communicate with contacts, suppliers, and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Distribute completed documents to the mailroom and ensure proper handling.

• Completion of General Insurance Essentials Certificate (Insurance Institute of Canada) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong team‑player skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.
• Consistently displays a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
